Art Museum

Showcasing artistic treasures through the ages, our museum has mounted a number of important exhibitions, including “Treasures of Ancient Cypriot Art” from the Pieridis Museum, “9000 Years of Cypriot Civilization”, “3200 Years of Cypriot Hellenism from Astarte to Aphrodite”, “The Art of the Key, 20 Centuries of Cross-cultural History”, “Greek Mythology in Engravings at the Louvre 16th -19th Century”, “Crete travels”, an exhibition of Minoan antiquities from the N. Metaxas collection at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, a Giorgio De Chirico retrospective in cooperation with the Fondazione Giorgio E Isa De Chirico in Rome, and “A Forest of Sculptures” from the Simon Spierer collection at the Hessisches Landmuseum in Darmstadt, Germany
